Children and Young People

During our Sunday morning gathering everyone is together for the first part before the children and young people go to their different groups. We currently have four groups catering for ages 0-18 years old.

Our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers have fun playing together, listening to stories and singing songs. Parents are welcome to stay with their children or go back into the main service and leave their children with the leaders and helpers.

Sunday Club (Primary school age – Reception to Year 6)

Sunday Club activities - drawi

Our primary age children have fun together learning Bible stories, playing games, making crafts, and praying. We use ideas such as videos, lego, drawing, and creative prayer to help the children engage with the story or theme each week. The leaders and helpers encourage the children to think about how they can apply what they learn to their own lives. We have loads of fun! Parents are welcome to stay if they wish.

DNA - Discipleship 'n' Action  (Secondary school age – Year 7 to Year 13)

People

Our group for secondary-aged young people that meet on Sundays during church.  We have a group for years 7 – 9 (DNA Juniors) and 10 – 13 (DNA Seniors).  We stay in church for about half an hour and then move into our groups. Juniors meet in the church lounge and Seniors in one of the classrooms.  We relax over drinks, biscuits, crisps and other suitable refreshments. We love to chat and explore issues about our Christian faith. We explore issues that are relevant to young people and relate this to living our lives out as Christians.

If you are in school years 7 to 13 we’d love to see you!
